Source Édition is a French publishing house for twentieth-century design. Working directly with designers, their estates and the Mobilier national, we return significant, disappearing pieces to production, faithful to the archive, made to be lived with again.

André Monpoix (1925–1976)

Designed the ministry offices of Simone Veil. Reissued today as Dialogue.

Ben Swildens (1938–2023)

Trained under master glassmaker Max Ingrand, before designing showrooms, sculpture and architecture across three continents.

Claude Courtecuisse (born 1937)

Showed cardboard furniture at the Grand Palais in 1967. Later sent a piece of his own into space, with an astronaut, from the Paris Observatory.

Giuseppe Rivadossi (born 1935)

A cooper's son who turned a family workshop into an atelier exhibited at MoMA.

Turenne Chevallereau (1912–1987)

Designed the Longchamp logo, then, with the Mobilier national, one of the first flat-pack furniture systems in France.

We are one of a small number of houses authorised to reissue directly from the Mobilier national's own archives, the same institution that has furnished the official residences of the French Republic for over three hundred years. In 2025, the Mobilier national added our reissue of Dialogue to its permanent collections, the same archive it was reissued from.

Want to treat yourself to a reissue of an iconic piece from the Mobilier National’s collections without breaking the bank? That’s the dream of many postwar design enthusiasts. With Source Édition, Isabelle de PonfilIy and her daughter Joséphine Bursacchi are taking on the challenge of bringing these pieces back to life.

Tradition, research and reclamation, are the characteristics that unite the furnishings of Source Edition, the company dedicated to putting into production unknown pieces whose designs are kept at the Archives of Mobilier National.

At the helm are İsabelle de Ponfilly and Joséphine Bursacchi. Together, they aim to breathe new life into timeless designer pieces that embody a rich history and values of sustainability. A family project devoted to the history of design

Recently founded, the company Source Édition brings designs back to life by reissuing them in collaboration with the original creators or their successors. This is the case with this model by the Dutch designer, which is almost impossible to find on the vintage market.

Founded by Isabelle de Ponfilly and her daughter Joséphine Bursacchi, Source Édition seeks to (re)highlight major figures of 20th-century decorative arts.
