Pliée lamp, 1970

Drawn by Ben Swildens in 1970, Pliée is born from a single gesture: a sheet of metal, folded until it holds the light. The architect and sculptor gave it the precision of a building and the lightness of a paper fold.

Fixed to the wall or set on a table, it offers two lives in one object. Source Édition reissues it in polished stainless steel and in white lacquer, made in France.
