Claude Courtecuisse spent 1967 showing cardboard furniture at the Grand Palais and designing the Mercurio chair in thermoformed plastic, before a career that reached the Centre Pompidou and, eventually, outer space, in a project made with an astronaut from his workshop at the Paris Observatory.
Miniflore, from 1970, is his design at its smallest and most playful: a porcelain form built to turn any vessel into a sculptural composition. The series holds over fifty shapes in total; Source Édition begins, in 2025, by reissuing the first.
