OTHERS ARE VENTURING INTO MORE DARING ENDEAVORS...
…by bringing to market pieces by deceased designers that were never produced, with the consent of the rights holders. This is the case with Source Édition, in collaboration with the Mobilier National.
By multiplying agreements, the latter has also partnered with Duvivier Canapés to develop the S3TA collection by Joseph André Motte, who passed away in 2013: a new line of chairs and coffee tables.
“[It] adds a third avenue,” continues Gilbert Kann. “These are the houses that are revived with their historical catalogues and offer old creations, like Stilnovo in Italy, and in France, Discerot or Maison Leleu.”
