Source Édition was founded by Isabelle de Ponfilly and Josephine Bursacchi, a lovely mother-daughter duo who combine strategic expertise with a deep artistic sensibility.

Isabelle de Ponfilly and Joséphine Bursacchi are on a quest to find timeless objects—pieces that, thanks to their excellent design and craftsmanship, never go out of style. Passionate about design, mother and daughter combined their talents and skills to create Source Édition at the beginning of this year and reissue design pieces from the 1950s to the 1970s. The brand was born from an observation made by Josephine, who sold vintage furniture from this golden age of design: "I realized that, for example, the

Jumelles lamp by Ben Swildens, which we are reissuing, many customers were asking me for it in vintage form. And it was almost impossible to find. The only times I did find it, it was either in very, very poor condition or priced astronomically." Thus came the idea of bringing these icons back to life. With total respect for the design of the pieces, in perfect agreement with the designers or their beneficiaries, and adapting them to more durable materials, Joséphine selects pieces from the archives of the Mobilier National Français, which manages and preserves state furniture, while Isabelle, who worked for many years at Vitra and Knoll, uses her network to create and market them. 

André Monpoix chairs and Turenne Chevallereau table kits are part of this first collection, which has clearly stood the test of time.
