The Pliée lamp embodies a decade when design combined freedom of form with functionality. Simple yet bold, it reflects an aesthetic conceived to adapt to changing lifestyles.
Created in 1970 by Ben Swildens, it has been reissued by Source Édition, a company dedicated to celebrating icons of Mid-Century design from the 1950s to the 1970s.
Pliée retains the spirit and finishes of the original version, white lacquered steel or mirror-polished steel, and can be used either as a wall light or as a table lamp.
