Source Édition Orchestrates a Dialogue Between Furniture and Contemporary Art
Since January 2026, Source Édition has inaugurated a new exhibition in collaboration with the Parisian gallery Maison Parisienne. Conceived as a sensory encounter between design and contemporary art, this showcase explores the links between materiality, craftsmanship, and emotion, elements at the very core of the publisher’s DNA.
Presented within a scenography designed as a "space for conversation," the exhibition creates a dialogue between Source Édition’s collections and the works of artists Zoé Ouvrier and Aurélie Mathigot, represented by Maison Parisienne. Textiles, forms, and colors resonate within an atmosphere that is both intimate and expressive, where each piece reveals its functional utility as much as its emotional depth.
This new chapter marks the continuous evolution of Source Édition’s collections, centered around modularity, texture, and color. Among the featured creations, "Miniflore n°2" by Claude Courtecuisse, crafted in biscuit porcelain in France, embodies a delicate approach to memory and legacy. The exhibition also highlights recent developments in the house's signature lines, confirming its commitment to bridging artisanal savoir-faire with contemporary creative expression.
