A Dialogue Between Heritage and Contemporary Design
Source Édition was proud to participate in the third edition of Matter and Shape, held from March 6 to 9, 2026, within the iconic Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. Invited by the Manufactures Nationales, Mobilier National, and Sèvres Manufacture, the house presented within a curated scenography that celebrated the enduring conversation between design history and modern innovation.
For this prestigious occasion, Source Édition showcased the Dialogue lounge chairs, originally designed by André Monpoix in 1967 and now reissued in collaboration with the Mobilier National. Presented in a striking sky-blue leather, these iconic pieces served as a testament to the power of precision reissues. By bridging the past and the present, the installation highlighted how historic designs can continue to resonate with contemporary audiences when revived with integrity.
The presentation also featured works by Studio Marcel Poulain, Rowin’Atelier, Samy Rio, and Arthur Hoffner, creating a vibrant exchange between different generations, materials, and creative languages.
In the setting of one of Paris’s most influential design fairs, Source Édition continues to affirm its mission: reactivating significant twentieth-century designs and ensuring they remain important parts of today’s cultural landscape, where heritage is not merely preserved, but vibrantly brought back to life.
