After Milan and the Mobilier national, Source Édition continues its journey through emblematic cultural landmarks with a new chapter at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche — Paris’s most iconic department store.

From August 30 to November 19, 2025, Source Édition takes over the second floor of the Espace Maison, above La Grande Épicerie de Paris, inviting visitors to discover a selection of authentic reissues from the 1950s to the 1970s alongside rare vintage pieces.

Every object embodies Source Édition’s philosophy: to revive design icons with integrity, preserving their original spirit while ensuring 100% European production through close collaboration with French and Italian ateliers.

The scenography, designed as a dialogue between memory and modernity, reflects the essence of the Maison: timeless forms, noble materials, and a commitment to authentic creation. Visitors can explore, experience, and acquire the pieces directly on site.

After Milan, the Mobilier national, and Le Bon Marché, Source Édition is now settling in Paris. Located at 23 rue d’Aboukir, just steps from Place des Victoires, this new address marks a key milestone for the design house founded by Isabelle de Ponfilly and Joséphine Bursacchi. Conceived as a living gallery, the showroom invites visitors to discover — and collect — the Maison’s reissued icons: Dialogue by André Monpoix, TU-TU by Turenne Chevallereau, Jumelles by Ben Swildens, Miniflore by Claude Courtecuisse, and Basilio by Giuseppe Rivadossi.Each piece tells a story — that of an original design, faithfully revived with European craftsmanship and integrity. To inaugurate this new space, Source Édition opens a dialogue between design and painting, presenting a work by Alexandre Kasproviez, in collaboration with Maestria, the gallery representing the artist.His diptych Jardin I, Rio de Janeiro (2023, oil on canvas, 200 × 300 cm) echoes the furniture’s lines and textures, bridging art and design through light and matter. A dialogue between memory, matter, and meaning As part of Paris Design Week 2025, Source Édition is honored to present the complete exhibition of its first collection within an exceptional setting: the Chapelle of the Manufacture des Gobelins, at the heart of the Mobilier national. A place steeped in history, the Chapelle becomes a sanctuary for design. Beneath its vaulted ceiling, iconic pieces from the golden age of modernism—1950s to 1970s—are reawakened. Each object has been reissued with meticulous care, in dialogue with the designers’ estates and under the guidance of the Mobilier national, the French institution dedicated to preserving and promoting design heritage. This exhibition is more than a presentation: it is an experience. It invites visitors to rediscover the intelligence of form, the nobility of materials, and the poetry of function. The scenography, developed especially for the site, highlights the timeless relevance of these historic works and the savoir-faire that brings them back to life. All pieces are manufactured in France and Italy by master artisans and industrials, using sustainable, traceable materials. Faithful to the original designs—yet rooted in contemporary values—each re-edition is both a tribute and a new beginning.
