EVENT︱Dialogue enters the Mobilier National permanent collections

Designed by André Monpoix in 1967 and faithfully reissued by Source Édition, the Dialogue sofa and lounge chairs have entered the permanent collections of the Mobilier National as part of its 2025 acquisitions.

Their inclusion marks a significant recognition of the historical and cultural importance of this emblematic French design program from the 1960s. With their entry into the national collections, these pieces take their rightful place within one of France’s most prestigious institutions dedicated to the preservation and promotion of design heritage. Preserved by the Mobilier National, they may one day furnish a ministry, embassy, or official residence, continuing the living tradition of French design within public spaces.

We are deeply honoured to see Dialogue join this historic collection, where craftsmanship, memory, and design excellence are safeguarded for generations to come.

An Enduring Dialogue

This acquisition reflects the close and meaningful relationship between Source Édition and the Mobilier national. United by a shared commitment to preserve, reactivate, and transmit the material culture of design, this dialogue lies at the heart of Source Édition’s mission. Through its reissues, the House brings renewed visibility to the work of visionary designers, while remaining deeply respectful of their original intent and firmly anchored in the present.
