Design Collections Finally Have a Dedicated Exhibition Space
Unique in France, the National Design Gallery will open its doors on June 10, 2026, in Saint-Étienne, at the heart of the Cité du design. More than a new cultural venue, this opening marks a true recognition of design in the French cultural landscape, establishing the gallery as a space for exhibition, dialogue, and transmission.
The National Design Gallery relies on a network of ambassadors and patrons who support its development and contribute to its influence among professionals, institutions, and businesses, both in France and internationally.
In this context, Isabelle de Ponfilly, co-founder of Source Edition, is among the project's ambassadors. Additionally, Source Édition is also one of the patrons of the "Le Seuil" space, the gallery's reception hall, designed as a place for discovery, mediation, and encounters around design. Through this commitment, Source Édition participates in supporting exhibition, mediation, publishing, and event programming projects, while helping to make design accessible to all audiences.
