Unique Seating

In recent years, master designers have combined the quest for ultra-comfort with the use of cutting-edge technologies in their sofa and armchair creations. Without neglecting the voluptuousness of enveloping volumes, pure and soft lines... for seating that is as graphic as it is ergonomic.
Armchairs, sofas, and chaises longues no longer just occupy space; they sculpt and punctuate it, adapting to each room and use through ambitious modular systems. This fundamental trend was once again evident at the Milan Furniture Fair last spring. By pushing the boundaries of ergonomics, durability, and interactivity ever further through the use of increasingly intelligent materials, designers and creators are transforming this furniture into sculptural objects and custom-made comfort. Straight lines and angles give way to curves and fluidity, revealing organically inspired silhouettes and generous volumes. Technology, meanwhile, is structurally infiltrating the heart of comfort: it gives birth to self-adjusting seating and backrest systems that faithfully follow the body's movements and adapt to each person's morphology, supported by innovative foams and technical textiles with a superior refined touch. Furthermore, brands are now prioritizing recyclable or bio-sourced materials, thus meeting eco-responsibility requirements. Finally, these lavish pieces, designed to be admired from all angles, display finely crafted details: high-end leathers, surgically precise stitching...
Designed in 1967 by André Monpoix for the Atelier de recherche et de création (ARC), the "Dialogue" armchair, a pioneering model with clean lines, is now reissued by Source Édition in partnership with the Mobilier national. From €2,950.
