This Mother's Day, we're partnering with FLWR, a Parisian florist working directly with local growers, to offer more than a gift. A story, a gesture, a carefully chosen flower that holds within it something quietly infinite and poetic: the Miniflore.
In 1970, Claude Courtecuisse designed the Miniflore as a tribute to his mother, who always kept the last fresh flower from a fading bouquet, placing it alone in her favourite holder, the way one preserves a presence, a memory, a trace of tenderness.
From this simple and deeply human gesture, a design object was born. Handcrafted in France in unglazed porcelain biscuit, the Miniflore is open at both ends to keep a single stem alive for as long as possible.
